“I just found a family for my little boy born christimas day. I didnt know i was even pregnant till i went to the emergency room, i was so small that they though he would be very sick. Turns out that he was about 39 weeks and perfectly healthly. I knew of a woman i used to work with, she and her husband lost their baby when she was 5 months pregnant. They became foster parents only to raise the beautiful baby to a year old and then the birthmother got her back. They were heartbroken and I never forgot them. Moments after the baby's birth, i knew i couldnt keep him(I have two other children at home and my boyfriend just left me about a month previously, i have his child(not mine biologically) as well,(3 boys)) the first thing i thought of was this couple. I searched for her number when i got home from the hospital and found it even though it was supposed to be unlisted. I asked if they were interested and they were! Today I gave them their baby and his new mommy said to me after we both said tearful thank you's,"My little girl was supposed to be born on christmas day,". Its that moment i will always look back on and know that baby was meant for them. He was always theirs I just happened to give birth to him. The only people who know these feelings are those who have gone through it. Please feel free to tell others this story or post it. ”
